A new bishop for the West and Geelong
Archbishop Ric Thorpe has announced our new Diocesan bishop for the Western area of Melbourne and Geelong. New bishops, new areas
It was announced this week that our Diocesan areas are being re-arranged into four from the current three episcopal areas. From September St. John’s will be in an area that runs North-South including the local government areas of Nillumbik, Hume, Whittlesea; Banyule, Darebin, Merri-bek; Melbourne, Yarra, Port Philip.
