Mike Flynn
Vicar

Mike was born and raised in Melbourne town. He left work in industry (as a research manger) to train for ordained ministry at Ridley College. His pastoral work has been in various Melbourne Anglican parishes and chaplaincy settings since.

Mike is married to Alison and they have four adult children and currently care at home for a demanding Tonkanese cat.

Len firth
Associate minister

Len has lectured at Ridley College Parkville and works as a ministry supervisor and coach for the Anglican Melbourne Diocese and beyond. He is a Supervisor Trainer member of the  Australasian Association of Supervision (AAOS).

Len has broad experience in mission work with indigenous Australians and in churches overseas as well as pastoral work in many Melbourne parishes. He is married to Jill.

Church Wardens

Property, human resources and finances
Our wardens in 2023-24 are Jocelyn, Alan and Clarissa. They are responsible for the financial and property concerns of the church.

PARISH COUNCIL

Oversight of ministry
Our Parish Council oversees all ministries at St John’s, and are elected or appointed at our AGM.  In 2023-24 our council members are Leanne and Tom
