Dear friends,
I am saddened to inform you that our long term member, Geoffrey Dongalen (senior), passed away peacefully in the company of his family today. At his request, we are not expecting a funeral or memorial service to be held for him but we will give thanks for him, pray for his family and friends, and together commit him to his Lord during our 10 am Sunday morning service this week (18/10).
Below is a note from Geoffrey’s family that was sent out this afternoon.
Hello,
It is with great sadness that Geoffrey Ombian Dongalen has passed away this day, October 14th 2026.
He had a long and happy life, with a loving family and friends. He has touched many people in his life with great kindness and generosity.
Though it is sad that we have lost him forever, his memory and legacy shall live on amongst all of us. It is reassuring that he will be joining his loving wife, Christina.
It was an honour that all of us got to live in his lifetime.
