Yep, we are jumping into the deep end of biblical interpretation with our next teaching series on the book of Revelation. We are taking it on because the world not only feels more apocalyptic at the moment but because public discussion is including many claims about God and this biblical book that need to be questioned. Below you will find a study booklet, designed for our life groups. It is more detailed than we normally produce because we are taking time to look at different interpretations of this book before providing reasons for preferring one interpretation over others.
Yep there may be controversy in this series, but we will make time for questions and debate – especially in our life groups. Yep, you may need to wear a metaphorical crash helmet and safety belt in the pews – but that should be normal in our churches anyway. Yep, there is plenty of political fuel in this book – but, in Brunswick, that is something we are used to as well.
We kick into our series on the book of Revelation on the 28th of June following our series on Paul’s letter to the Galatians.
