The Alpha course was developed by an Anglican church as a tool for people with questions about Christianity. It is also a great way for those who are Christians to refresh their trust in God and to ask questions they may not have had opportunity to ask before. The heart of the course is taking people’s questions seriously and respecting the differences between us.

Our 2026 course starts on Sunday May 3rd at 5 pm at our church. To get there, please see the details on our contact page.

The format of each evening is that we eat a (free) meal together, watch an Alpha video and then in small groups discuss any questions about life and faith that we feel comfortable exploring. That’s it! We leave by 7 pm to make sure everyone can get home to prepare for the week ahead.

The topics for our 2026 Alpha course are:

  • 3/5 – Is there more to life than this?
  • 10/5 – Who is Jesus?
  • 17/5 – Why did Jesus die?
  • 24/5 – How can we have faith?
  • 31/5 – a night off
  • 7/6 – Why and how do I pray?
  • 14/6 – Why and how should I read the Bible?
  • 21/6 – Who is the Holy Spirit?
  • 28/8 – What about the church?

Our promise to you is no cost, no commitment to the whole course and no bugging you with follow ups.

If you want to come along, please book using our contacts page and let us know if you have any dietry requirements so we make sure we are welcoming you properly.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you for what will be a time where people can share their thoughts on things that matter.
