The Old Testament (the Hebrew Scriptures) is hammered by our popular media. Thoughtless and simplistic interpretations of the creation stories, the miracles, the commandments, history and ethics of these books are so common that we make the mistake of thinking we know that the Old Testament has been discredited even if we have never read it. Dr. Lindsay Wilson, one of our members and a respected scholar of the Old Testament will be helping us think through whether we can trust these ancient books or not.
