Our times make it difficult for us to be content. We call it advertising. In the apostle Paul’s day, contentment was seen as a virtue of the great and accomplished. For us and for Paul, contentment is a gift of knowing Christ rather than an achievement of our virtue. It is confidence that God-has-this. This problem, this need, this life. Join us as we praise our God through his Christ this Sunday 10am in our service of Holy Communion.
