While it is true that Christians are the most persecuted group of people on earth today, Paul shows that they are not to respond to these wrongs as victims but as opportunists who boldly live lives worthy of Christ and embrace suffering for Christ as a gift. This is not our contemporary response of outrage towards to rejection and wrong but then, our world struggles to know what it is living for let alone what we are prepared to suffer for.
