It is strange how we often can’t see our wrongs but others can – too clearly! It is strange how our times tend to fragment our lives into the roles we play at work, home, leisure and church. Meanwhile, the God of the Bible seeks to integrate our lives into a whole. Perhaps this is why we don’t see how the wrongs done at work affect our homes, our life with God or our broader society. In chapter 3, Malachi digs into our social conscience to warn us there comes a time when God acts against fraud, oppression, inhumanity and injustice. When God is wearied by the wrongs we have ignored. Our worship this week is 10 am 5/5 (Morning Prayer) and 5 pm (Communion and healing service).
