It is funny what we think will grow churches compared to what the apostles of Jesus thought. Paul, in his letters to one of the first churches in Europe reminds them to grow in their life in God. How? By honouring the leaders who work hard at the right things; robust pastoral care; growing in joy, prayer and discernment and, desiring holiness in spirit, soul and body. These are some of the lessons we are learning from 1 Thessalonians this Sunday 8/10 at our 10am service.
