Community

The St John’s Op Shop has an old-fashioned, eclectic feel to it. There are racks of clothes, books, shoes and kitchen goods, comfortable chairs strategically close the bookshelves and a table for sharing cups of tea and conversation. The Op Shop has lots of regular customers of all ages and walks of life – some almost daily visitors.

The prices are also 'old-fashioned', and the Op shop is always keen for more customers!

Opening hours

Wednesday: 9:30 am – 1 pm

Friday: 9:30 am – 3 pm

Saturday: 10 am - 4 pm

Volunteering at the op shop

Volunteers are usually rostered 1/2 to 1 day per month. The shop currently has around 14 volunteers, from St John's and the wider community. Please speak to Jacki Hill at the op shop or contact the office if you're interested in finding out more.
