Today we commence a new series of sermons on the letter of James to the early church. This letter is full of practical teaching for Christians facing the uncertainties of life.

James is no ponderous teacher, but uses questions, illustrations and startling statements to help his readers understand what it means to live the Christian life.

Richard will start the series with James 1:1-18 Facing Trials. You can read along with us over the next eight weeks.
