Bruce’s Helping Hand is a confidential pastoral support fund for those in financial need. The concept originated with Lorraine Thompson in memory of her late husband Bruce. Since the fund was established over $11,000 has been distributed to members of the St John’s congregation. The fund is accessed on request from the priest in charge Rev Phillip Brown, and like all financial transactions is authorised by the treasurer and signed by a warden.
